Obituary of Karen Moore

Karen (Buller) Moore, age 53, our beautiful, loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, was ushered into heaven and into the loving arms of Jesus at her home in Seattle, WA on March 29, 2019. Karen Marie was born on April 8, 1965 in Sidney, MT to Elmer (Jim) and Caroline (Drost) Buller. She was the youngest of 6 children and attended and graduated from school in Richey, MT with the Class of 1983. After High School, Karen went to Eastern Montana College in Billings, MT pursuing a degree in business, but while in college she began working for the FAA and gave up her pursuit of a degree. She later transferred with the FAA to Seattle, WA. While at the wedding of friends, she met the man of her dreams, James (Jim) Moore. This was a match made in heaven, and they were married September 5th, 1992. They were blessed with 4 children, Christian, Kole, Adi and Ali. When she became a mother, she gave up working and became a stay-at-home Mom. She loved watching them grow and shuttling them to all their many activities and she was so proud of their many accomplishments. Her parents had a great love for music, and nurtured that in all of their children. Karen loved music and learned to play piano, French horn and to sing. She was on the worship team at her church and loved to be involved in it. Karen loved the Lord and wanted to share Him with everyone she met. She spent much time reading the Word of God and studying it, and spent countless hours in prayer for the needs of her own family, her extended family and friends. With the children growing and leaving home, she went back to work and was currently working for 911 Driving School in Kent, WA. Karen was preceded in death by her father, Jim Buller, her brother, Darrel Buller, 3 brother-in-laws Alex Jackson, Duane Ulrich and Ken Warner, and a nephew Mikel Ulrich. Karen is survived by her loving husband, Jim Moore; children, Senior Airman Christian Moore of Fayetteville, N.C., Airman Kole Moore of Pullman, WA, Adrianna (Adi) Moore of Tacoma, WA and Alianna (Ali) Moore of the family home; her mother, Caroline Buller of Richey, MT; her sisters, Judy (Butch) Raisl, Bonnie (Larry) Smith, and Nancy Ulrich of Richey, MT, Cami (Ed) Mahoney of Kodiak, AK; sister-in-law Jan Buller of Richey, MT; her in-laws Mac & Leona Moore of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada, Margie (Len) Lane of Edmonton, AB, and Cheryl (Bob) Cowling of Medicine Hat, AB; and numerous nieces and nephews who were very dear to her heart. We do NOT understand the depths of despair that she felt in the illness she battled for years. Our hearts are heavy that all our love and support was not enough to pull her through. Yet, we find peace and comfort in KNOWING that her pain is now gone and she is now whole and complete, happy and free as she sings in the heavenly choir worshipping her creator God and her Savior!! We look forward to our reunion with her in heaven one day! A memorial service will be held for Karen on Saturday, April 20th at 10 a.m. at Calvary Chapel South in Kent, WA. Instead of flowers, the family would like donations to be sent to: Care Net, 1924 S. Cedar, Suite B, Tacoma, WA 98405.
