I have many wonderful memories of Grandpa. There were camping trips where he patiently helped me learn to play pinochle, setting up the computer so I could play video games, and learning to play shuffleboard and enjoying amusement parks in California. Grandpa was firm though also. He made sure I stayed on top of my grades and did what I was supposed to. He had high standards because I believe he saw the potential in all. I am grateful because it continues to encourage me to be a better person. Then there were the quarters. So many quarters that I ended up bringing home a trash bag full of stuffed animals from the claw game one time (Grandpa was great at it). More dear to my heart though is one single quarter. One visit, Grandpa pulled me aside and gave me a quarter. He asked me to keep it so if I ever needed him, he was only a phone call away. That one quarter summarized Grandpa to me: Firm and shining, but symbolizing ultimate selflessness and love. Over time the need for an actual quarter has changed, but the reassurance of consistency and love carries on. I will always carry that "quarter" with me. You are missed Grandpa and will forever be in my heart!

We have lost a great friend. You are now resting free of pain. We have many memories of our friendship that we will cherish forever, especially the many holidays we celebrated together, your eagerness to research and help solve home maintenance issues, and yes your quick wit. Rest in peace.

Now that Loren is at peace, I know he is watching over you Jackie, You the love of his life gave him so much strength and love for life. I've known him for over 25 years and in those years we created a wonderful bond. Loren to me is my big brother that I never had. His guidance and expertise flooded me with knowledge and understanding that inspired me to reach a higher level in life. Most of all we had fun together. Loren was strong in his beliefs and showed caring and compassion to others. I saw him as a teacher and a strong debtor. I enjoyed watching and listening to him work his magic around the old watering hole at Bud's, giving advice to those who asked for it. Loren and I shared common Interests. We had strong values which supported are bond. We believed "do it wright the first time and we don't waste time and materials". And pride is the key to success. Jackie, over these last few months I felt honored to be there with you and Loren in going through those hard times. Jackie, Rosa also wants to give you her blessing and thank you and Loren for all you have done for us. So Loren, Old Buddy, I'll miss ya. Singing off ....Darill/dan

I do not know how I am going to go on without the love of my life, best friend, and soul mate at my side. Even our little Frizzy is so very sad these days. You will be in my heart and in my thoughts always, and someday we will be together again for eternity.
