Obituary
Obituary of Brock W Brock
Travis “Bill” William Brock,
was born August 6, 1932 to Marvin and Etter Brock in Morrow, AR and went to
explore the great outdoors of heaven on August 18, 2013. He was the oldest of 6 siblings and was
preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ernie, and his infant brother Wilburn. Bill was the loving steadfast leader of his large
family. He is survived by his wife of 58
years Norma, and his 6 children; William (Memory) Brock, Joseph (Lorena) Brock,
Linda (Wayne) Mullendore, Daniel (Julie) Brock, Cynthia (Dan) Downing of
Hartsburg, MO, and Laura (Rod) Woodward, 11 grandchildren, Rachel Gatlin,
Rebecca Herron, Travis Brock, Lindsay Carter, Patrick Brock, Tyrel, Clayton, and
Brett Mullendore, Jacob and Chance Brock, and Cody Brock, and 10 great-grandchildren. Bill lived a full life; he served in the US
military, owned a successful heavy equipment business, and even tried farming
in Arkansas, but what he is best known for is his kind, giving heart. Sometimes stubborn and hard headed, but also
the man who would give you the shirt off his back, everyone who knew him loved
and respected him. He traveled the country and never met a stranger, making
friends wherever his travels took him. He
was a man of honor, a husband who loved deeply, an admirable father, an amazing
grandfather, and truly one of the greatest, great-grandfathers to ever walk
this earth. He left us too soon, and we miss
him terribly, but we know he is dancing with Jesus now, scoping out the salmon
runs and checking on the clam tides in heaven.
While he is up there enjoying fishing trips that put his many Alaska
adventures to shame, and PumpkinFests that beat anything in Missouri the rest
of us will celebrate every memory, and he will live in the heart of our family
forever. He has left us such an amazing
legacy of love, and we are blessed that He was our “Gramps". Viewing will be at Klontz Funeral Home,
Auburn, WA Thursday 5-8PM, a Rosary Service at 7PM followed by a Funeral service
Saturday 11AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, Auburn, WA, with reception and
graveside service following.
