Obituary of Lois Elaine Vestal

Lois Elaine Vestal passed away Tuesday, December 1st peacefully at Cherish Hills Acres in Auburn, WA. Lois was born March 16, 1926 in Weippe to Harry and Rose Carr where she grew up on the family farm. In 1943 she graduated at Weippe High and began working in various office positions although she excelled as a bookkeeper. Her favorite pastime as a young woman was dancing every Saturday night at The Stables. 1958 must have been her lucky year as she met her soul mate, Dale Vestal. Lois and Dale were married in 1962. The following year they had a daughter, Sharon. Lewiston would be their home for many years. Lois spent her retired years traveling the globe, her favorite trip was a 40 day tour of Europe. Preceding her in death are her parents and sister, Geraldine Neumann. She is survived by her husband, daughter, granddaughter Kelli Meeker, niece Carla Lane, nephew Nicki Bonner and several great nieces and nephews. A memorial will be held Wednesday at 11 AM on December 9th at Holy Family in Auburn, WA.
