Arnold R. Galli Sr. 93, of Auburn died on Wednesday February 23, 2005 in Federal Way. He was born in Auburn on July 8, 1911 and has been a resident of Auburn all of his life. He was a farmer, drove school bus and retired as an educator. Charter and also an active member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Auburn; Volunteer at White River Valley Museum; Served on the Auburn Centennial Commission; Participant in the Auburn Good Old Days; Received the Auburn Chamber of Commerce Home Town Hero Award; Auburn Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Month; Received the First Pioneer Spirit Award; He and Dorothy were married in l939. Messiah Lutheran Church dedicated their fellowship hall the “Arnold and Dorothy Galli Hall”. Survivors: Wife: Dorothy Galli, Auburn, WA Son: Arnie (Sandi) Galli Jr., Auburn, WA Son: Larry (Shanna) Galli, Arlington, WA Daughter: Kathi (Jim) Hennessey, Auburn, WA 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren Memorial Services Monday February 28, 2004 at 3:00 PM in the Messiah Lutheran Church, Auburn. Private Family Graveside Services will be held at Mt. View Cemetery, Auburn. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Messiah Lutheran Church.
