Obituary of Winnifred Hazel Sweet

Winnifred Hazel Sweet, 97 of Auburn died on March 9, 2005 in Auburn. She was born on December 19, 1907 in Rapid City, South Dakota and was a resident of Auburn for 30 years. She retired from North American Rockwell in l972 after 18 years. Winnifred then worked part time at Boeing from l976 from l983. Graduated from Sumner High School: Member of the Sweet Adalines for 36 years; enjoyed reading, crocheting, dancing and singing. Winnifred was a member and the oldest person to ever join the Puyallup Eagles. She was also a Minister. Preceded in death by her daughter Marjorie. Survivors: Daughter: June N. Prain, Auburn, WA Daughter: Donna L. Halverson, Auburn, WA Son: Ben S. Sweet, Sumner, WA Daughter Fern W. Haskett, Pacific, WA Son: Daniel B. Sweet, Kettle Falls, WA 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday March l9, 2005 at 1:30 PM at the Puyallup Eagles #2308.
