Obituary of Barbara Haupt

Barbara Jean Haupt 02/24/1947 ~ 10/02/2015 Barbara Jean Haupt left this earth and opened her wings to join her heavenly father on Friday, October 2, 2015, surrounded by family and friends. Barbara was a hairdresser for over 40 years. She gained many friendships throughout her career that she loved and cared about. Originally from Britton, South Dakota, her family moved to Seattle. She resided in Auburn, Washington in 1975 and raised her two daughters along with numerous family that she would open her home to. She loved her family and was loved by many. She wore many hats, and had a wealth of information to hand out to everyone. An inspiration of strength to a lot of people. She was short in stature, but had the biggest heart. Barbara always had a smile on her face and light in her eyes. She loved her garden and animals. Barbara especially loved the ocean. She leaves behind her mother, Viola Hamlin. Two daughters, Michelle Haupt and Sherry James (Ray). Three grandchildren, Kasey James, Devin Pipkin and Melissa James. Step sisters, Teresa and Roxie, and nieces and a nephew. Jennifer, Jaime and Shawn.
