So sorry for your loss. It is mine too. Even though I only knew him while we were in the Navy, Jim was a good friend and shipmate. We shared an interest in poetry and philosophic discussions, and I remember those things fondly. I too was an Eagle Scout, with a passionate interest in the outdoors. All of us who were shipmates in VA176 on the USS Franklin D. Rosevelt and knew Jim will miss him. He joins a growing number who have departed as our ranks thin. God bless Jim, he was a good man. I hope fond memories and support of friends will support you and your family in his loss.

Mr. Nannery (as he will always be in my no longer sixteen year old mind) will be remembered by me for his pride in seeing his kids follow their passions in life. Jake and Kyla’s appetite for learning, self expression, and fun are reflections of the man he was. My love to you all.
