Obituary of Jerry Joseph Heinen

Jerry J. Heinen, a resident of Auburn, died suddenly on Friday, the 5th of May, 2017 at Valley Medical Center in Renton, WA. He was 68. Jerry had resided in Bellevue (Newport Hills area), as well as, Renton. He was born in 1948 in Mobridge, So. Dakota, Jerry received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the U of W and a Masters in Tax from Golden Gate University. Jerry joined the U.S. Navy in August, 1970 and was honorably discharged as a Lieutenant J.G. in August, 1974. He worked as Chief Financial Officer for Paul, Nels, Carlson in Seattle, and then started his own company Heinen, Inc. CPA, as well as held CPA continuing education classes. He had a contagious lecherous laugh that only grew deeper as he aged. Jerry loved his family, being a CPA, motorcycling, boating, traveling, going to Navy reunions, visiting his Navy buddies, and eating out with friends. In his younger years, he was the life of the party. In later years, Jerry became quiet and introspective. Jerry is survived by the Love of His Life, his wife, Rosemary (of 44 years), daughter Lisa Marie, son-in-law Matt, grandchildren Ashlynn and Cailee. All of them brought him immense joy, even to the point of just watching them. Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Joe Heinen, and his sister Fran Wachter, his mother in law and father in law, Mary A, and Chuck C. Donckers.
