Obituary of Teresa Marie Diefendorf Schincke

Obituary for Teresa Marie Diefendorf Schincke: Teresa was born in Watertown, NY on Dec 15, 1958 to Darwin and Rosemary Diefendorf, the 3rd of 5 children. The family lived in Adams, NY until 1965 when they moved to St. Petersburg, FL. In 1967, they headed out west and settled in Federal Way where she resided until her death on Feb 16, 2017. Teresa graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1976. She worked for Herfy’s, Safeway and The Bon Marche. She married Bradford Moyer in 1981 and had 4 beautiful children – Jennifer, Daniel, Ashley, and Jeffrey. She then married Harlan Schincke and they had 2 children – Chase and Kianna. She adored her 6 grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, 2 brothers – John and Dan, 2 sisters – Cindy and Delinda, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan and her father. Services will be held Saturday, March 4 at 11:00 am, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church – 30525 8th Avenue South, Federal Way. Rosary will start at 10:00 am The family invites you to join us in wearing pink, Teresa’s favorite color. There will be pink ribbons available to pin on at the church as well. Reception immediately following in the church hall. We will be collecting jars of peanut butter (creamy) and/or jelly/jam (seedless) to donate to the Tacoma Rescue Mission in Teresa’s name.
