I Don't think I ever met Jim, but did know Kevin. He and my Brother Dan Phair were very good friends in High School. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you at this time. I am so sorry you have all lost such a great part of your family. He is still with u all in spirit and one day u will all be together again I believe. Take care and remember all the lives Jim touched. One day at a time is all you can do, God Bless You All In Loving Memory THE BROKEN CHAIN We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name, In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home, You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; But as God calls us one by one, THE CHAIN will link again I hope your family will find some comfort in this poem God Bless Ronna Phair Sandner

Although I didn't know Jim personally, as I read his obituary, I felt a great sense of loss as if I had known him all of my life. How sweet a man and how very sad for his wife, daughter, son-in-law and grandson to loose him at such an early age. Only our Lord knows the reason why but, he must have needed him in heaven to do so. (probably to teach some one how to be an out doors man). I know his family circle will forever be broken. I believe if he had lived, he and Drake would have become great friends. Please accept my sympathies. Nancy Hughes. Grandmother of Drake Klarkowski

Camille, I only met Jim once but it was truly memorable. Carl and I were going to take the gondola up to the restaurant at the top of Crystal and have dinner. We went into the bar to relax until time for our dinner reservations and there you and Jim were, also waiting for dinner reservation times. We visited together, then rode the gondola up and had dinner together. I enjoyed that afternoon so much, talking with both of you and getting to know Carl better through the eyes and stories of his friends. Although I only spent the one afternoon with Jim, it was clear that he was an amazing person and it was a privilege to share even that one experience with him. God bless you and may Jim continue to make his presence felt in your life. Dana

Jim was such a character!! I will miss his zest for life ! I will miss the way he would laugh at me when I said something silly !! I will miss seeing what his next project would have been and I know there would have been many:))! I will miss his punch that I received the many times to my arm(Jim didn't know how hard he punched)whenever Camille and I walked!! I will keep him alive in my heart. Love you Camille and Nicole!!

You will continue to be blessed and comforted with Jim's love in the memories that can be seen and felt in his talented, tangible works (cabin, kitchen etc.) I remember watching your eyes light up when you shared the progressive pictures of your kitchen remodel and "bragged" about what a great job Jim was doing with it. You are all in my thoughts and prayers to be comforted during this difficult time.

Camille, Nicole and the entire Lemke Family ~ It was so meaningful to have the chance to visit with Jim during the past few months of his life. I will treasure our conversations, both the serious topics as well as laughs we had! I especially was touched by the love & care shown to him by his friends & family, but especially you-Camille. You totally exemplified what the words love & devotion mean. I witnessed love in action with all the selfless care & attention you gave to Jim the past several months, all done with a giving heart. I'm so sorry you lost your best friend. God only knows whats in store for you, but know you are surrounded by many friends and family members who will be with you every step of the way as you find your new "normal" going forward. Jim will definitely be missed- I see his independent spirit in Nicole and now Liam. Camille, I'm so glad we've remained friends and still consider each other family. Please know I'm here if you need anything. We both have had our hearts broken- but in very different ways, no matter how you look at it- life goes on and you'll be okay. Jim was so lucky to have had you in his life- you two made it work and your love was strong & beautiful all the way to the very end. Love you sis- XOXO Karla
