Obituary of James Lee Carroll

Jim Carroll (Uncle Jimmy or Jimmy Lee) was a father, brother, son and friend. He enjoyed so many things in life like vintage cars and hunting with his beloved hound dogs in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest. The hound he spoke about most was Tilly.

Uncle Jimmy served 4 years in the United States Coast Guard from 1963-1967. After the Coast Guard he moved around a little and finally made his home in Snohomish County. He had a long career in the flooring industry and ended his working career with the State of Washington Ferry System in 2005.

Uncle Jimmy passed away on March 19 surrounded by his loved ones. He suffered a long battle with Esophageal Cancer.

He is survived by his son Jeff Carroll, granddaughter Patricia (Josh) May, and grandson Brodie Carroll. He leaves behind his partner, Linda Russell of 22 years and her children Rory Russell, Renae Piecuch and grandsons William, Christopher and Julian. His sister Patricia Carroll Brown, Nephews Gary Brown, Terry (Mary Ann) Brown, Joel Brown and Niece Julie (Rodney) Anderson. Jimmy was fortunate enough to have had 7 great nieces and nephews and 11 great, great nieces and nephews.

Jimmy Lee is proceeded in death by his brother Herb Borwig who passed away March 21, 2022.

A celebration of life will be held at noon on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Hill Funeral Home, 217 E. Pioneer Avenue, Puyallup, WA 98372
