Obituary of Dorothy Craig Page

Our dear mother, Dorothy Craig Page (ne Dorothy Lucia Craig), passed away peacefully on October 17, 2022, at the age of 96 in Auburn, Washington.

Dorothy was born and raised in Staten Island, New York, and after graduating from New Dorp High School, she became employed by Cunard cruise lines in New York City where she worked as a secretary.

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Roland Page. Dorothy was actively involved in the communities in which they lived, including Bowie, Maryland, Melbourne, Florida, and at Wesley Homes Lea Hill in Auburn, Washington. While living in Bowie, she was a long-time employee for the Prince George’s County Government in Upper Marlboro.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Sandra Page Guiton, and son, William Roland Page. Dorothy was a wonderful parent who was actively involved in her children’s early activities such as majorette and drum corps, dance, and sports. She was a loving and supportive grandmother to Lindsey Guiton, Andrea Guiton and Emily Guiton.

As per Dorothy’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, we invite you to make a donation in her honor to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org).
