Obituary of Renee L. Wagner

Renee Wagner, 63 Auburn resident Renee Lorraine Wagner, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday November 30, 2011. At her request no services will be held. Renee Wagner, formerly Wicks and Bono, was born in Seattle Washington on January 6, 1948 to Lorraine and Maurice Bono who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband Clarence Wagner of Auburn, her Son and his wife Russell and Janet Wicks of Portland Oregon, her daughter Deborah Wicks of Salt Lake City Utah and her son and his wife Daniel and P.J. Wicks of Henderson Nevada. Renee is also survived by her brother and his wife, Richard and Nancy Bono of Camano Island Washington with their daughter Sydney. Plus seven grandchildren;Tiffany, Kenny, Daniel II, Rachel, Taylor, Lorin and Shelby. Renee had many friends who will miss her greatly. Her closest and longest Sherry and Ernie Harsh of Seattle and Sherrie Laird of Bonnie Lake knew her almost her whole life. Renee was known to her grandchildren affectionately as Grandma A, because it was difficult for them to pronounce her name at young ages. Renee enjoyed travel, bingo and the occasional slot machine. She was a fantastic cook who passed on her culinary skills to her children and even grandchildren, sharing recipes and methods regularly. Renee was a special person who did not have a mean bone in her body. She raised her children as a single mother and gave them all she had. And then she met her soul mate 20+ years ago, only to finally be married September 10, 2010; to Clarence Wagner. She loved him dearly and he her. They shared a whole life in only 14 short months of matrimony before her passing. Renee lived virtually her entire life in the Seattle metro area. She attended West Seattle High School and over the years lived in Beverly Park, Burien, Kent, White Center, West Seattle, Lynwood and finally Auburn. She loved the Seattle area. She made many friends and had hundreds of relatives in the Region and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
