Obituary of Allis Gwendolyn Lofgren

Allis Gwendolyn (Gwen) Lofgren, 85 died on January 23, 2007 at the Weatherly Inn in Kent. Born December 24, 1921 in Auburn, she retired from the Phone Company after 27 years and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Gwen enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting afghans, watching the Mariners, music, reading and Hawaii. Survived by her husband Irving; three children, Clifford (Pam) Lofgren; Carol (Tom) Fleck and their daughters, Darcy and Melissa; Lori (Mike) Faber and their children, Anthony Dunbar and Jeremy Fobes and six great-grandchildren. Funeral Services Tuesday 10:00 am January 30, 2007 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 805 4th St NE, Auburn. Burial will follow at 1:15 PM at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent. Visitation Monday from 5pm to 8pm at the Funeral Home. Memorials to: U of W Medicine Friends of Alzheimer’s Research, 1325 4th Ave, Seattle 98101.
