Obituary of Rachelle Leigh Frostad

Rachelle Leigh Bohlman was born to Ronald and Alice Davis Bohlman on May 26, 1972, in Bismarck, ND. She was later joined by sister, Rebecca Lynne and brother, Ryan Lee. She attended schools in ND until the moved to Washington State in 1987. She attended high school in Kent and GRCC in Auburn. She met her future husband, John Paul Frostad at GRCC and later married in June 1993. Even though she and John eventually divorced they remained good friends and she was always considered the Frostads as family. Rachelle was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes while attending GRCC. It was a life changing event for her. She struggled for years to keep her blood sugars within normal range but she was brittle and it was very hard to control. In the early years it seemed to be easier but as time marched on her body became more frail and she went on dialysis for kidney failure in November 2009. Even though dialysis helped rid her body of toxins and fluids, that process itself was hard on her and affected her organs. She was in the process of trying to get on the UW transplant list at the time of her death. She leaves behind her parents, Ron and Alice, Sister, Rebecca VanNatta (Joshua), Brother Ryan ( Jaime) and two nieces Lillian Bohlman and Sigrid VanNetta. She also leaves behind her grandmother, Irene Bohlman, many aunts, uncles, cousins. She loved her family and many friends and we will all miss her dearly. She loved animals and she had a faithful canine companion Bella whom she loved very much. Rachelle’s laughter and silly jokes will greatly missed and her beautiful artistic paintings treasured. She had so many beautiful talents and a flare for fashion and design. Our dearest Rachelle continue all the things you loved and talents without pain and bask in the lords love until we meet again.
