Obituary of Irving Haynes Lofgren

Irving Haynes Lofgren, 90 years old, died on January 30, 2007 in Des Moines, WA. Born April 16, 1916 in Seattle, WA. Irv joined the Merchant Marines at the age of 18 and sailed the world for 12 years. We will miss all his wonderful stories. He built a home for his family on North Lake in Federal Way, where he resided until recently due to illness. Irv loved fishing, gardening, watching sports and “The Lake”. Preceded in death by his wife Gwen, survived by, three children, Clifford (Pam) Lofgren; Carol (Tom) Fleck and their daughters, Darcy and Melissa; Lori (Mike) Faber and their children, Anthony Dunbar and Jeremy Fobes and six great-grandchildren. Funeral Services Friday 10:00 am February 2, 2007 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 805 4th St NE, Auburn. Burial will follow at 11:30 AM at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent.
