Obituary of Phyllis Ann Lang

Phyllis Ann Lang Age 59, Lost her battle against cancer peacefully passing away at her son and daughter-in-laws home in Issaquah on the evening of May 4th 2010. Phyllis was born June 9, 1950 in Hickory, North Carolina to Helen and Gene Triplett. Moving to Washington State as a child, Phyllis grew up in Seattle. She was also, a long time resident of Covington and then Bonney Lake. After 25 years of service at the Boeing Company, she retired and headed east to the Potholes Reservoir in Eastern Washington to settle down with her husband Mike of 43 years. Phyllis loved spending time with her family, crocheting, fishing, or pulling the handle on her favorite slot machine. It was a blessing to get a blanket made with love, eat a fish she caught and cooked, or hear her winning stories from the casino! When you spent a little time with Phyllis, it was easy to feel special. She always had a heart to serve others. Whether you were family or a friend, if you stopped by her home, she would always make sure you had something to eat or drink. Phyllis leaves behind her loving husband Mike, son Dan, Daughter-in-law Rena, Grandchildren Kajal and Chloe Lang; Brothers Wayne and Rick Triplett; Mother-in-law Mae Lang; Brothers-in-law Barney Lang, Dick Lang, David Lang, GW Henricks; Sisters-In-Law Cindy Lang, Katie Lang, Becky Henricks, Linda Triplett; Nieces and nephews – Brandi, Randy, Gregory, Nicole, Emily, Angela, Justin, Anthony, Louisa, Joey. Memorial Services will be held at Bellevue Christian Church (10808 SE 28th Street, Bellevue, WA 98004) on Monday, May 10th at 10 a.m. with reception following. Friends and family are invited to share memories and sign the online guest book at Klontzfunteralhome.com Inurnment will be at a later date at Mountain View Cemetery in the Chapel of Memories.
