Louise and Family, We were so sorry to hear about the loss of your Husband, Father and Grandfather. We will always remember our visits with Mac and Louise. We are enjoying the raspberry plant starts and fig tree start that Mac gave us. We appreciated the many times Mac helped answer computer questions and shared his knowledge with us. I never knew your dad, but do know what a terrific daughter he helped raise. Kathy has been a friend of mine since 1968 when we meet through friends at college. So, based on that, your dad had to be one heck of a fabulous human being. My thoughts are with all of you during this time.

"Mac" Was not my relative. But I sure he was. Mac and Louise will always be in my heart Grandpa and Grandma if not by blood, then by actions, and love.

I am all choked up from the message Sondra left. My goodness, what a lovely tribute. In what is known as "the end", we are remembered in mortal terms by the legacy we leave. Rest in peace, Uncle Dick. You did a mighty good job on this earth.

Dear Louise, Kathleen, Dick and family. We can't be sad for a long life well lived. Mac married the woman he loved...had 2 'perfect' children who cherished him...built a strong home to protect them...gardened and fished and shared his bounty with friends and family...and spiced it all up with a salty sense of humor. He will be missed. More importantly..he'll be remembered.

Grandpa, You were and always will be the best grandpa there ever was. I have never seen you anything but loving, caring, happy, and positive. You helped me learn and grow. You made me feel special every time I saw you. I loved when you sang to me and played your guitar. I loved it when you twinkled my nose, and I loved it when you waved to me from the door every time I left. I was sad when you became too weak to make it to the door to wave. I am thankful for all the time I spent with you. I am glad I was able to help you in the end, to tell you how much I love you over and over, and to just be there to hold your hand. I will miss you forever. Love, Your little monkey. Sondra
