Obituary of Michael Duane Nelson

Michael D. Nelson, born December 3, 1973 in Seattle, raised in Auburn, Washington; passed away at his place of residence November 26th, 2011 @ 37 years old. Michael is survived by his parents, Randy & Janet; his former wife Mary Peterson, his 11 year old son Christian; his sister Michelle & brother-in-law Michael Stephens, 2 nieces Natalie, Naomi, and nephew Jonathan; his grandparents Violet & Bob Nelson, and Mary Lou Park. Michael graduated from Sumner High School in Sumner, Washington June 1992; he was employed by AMPAK in Auburn, Washington at time of his death. Michael loved spending his free time with his friends and family, his most favorite passion was drama, he loved participating in plays both in the local community as well as Easter & Christmas Programs at the different churches he attended, NW Family Church and River of Life in Kent; he also loved music & singing. He enjoyed Sturgeon Fishing with his Dad, golfing, and swimming with his son Christian. Michael was known by his family and friends to have a kind and tender loving heart, he will be missed by all who knew him. Memorial Service will be held December 10, 2011 at 4:00pm at NW Family Church Auburn, WA.
