June Elaine Taylor
June 10, 1952 – December 1, 2016
June was born June 10, 1952 in Seattle to George and Dorothy Taylor. During her childhood years she lived in Duvall and the greater Seattle area. She attended Cascade High School and Edmonds Community College.
She worked for the Seattle Public Library, facilitating book transfers between branches. She also started her own business, Taylor Made, making aprons for stores and other professional businesses. She lived in Lynnwood for several years in the 90’s and took care of her mother until she passed away in 1994.
In 1997 June moved to Burien where she lived with her 2 dogs Sammy and Mocha. She spent much of her time recycling metal and other materials that were discarded. She was able to take useless items and put them to good use. In 2014 she underwent chemotherapy treatments for cancer. Following that she was in good health.
Her life was tragically cut short by a drunk driver in an automobile accident the night of December 1, 2016. June’s remaining siblings (Mary Hagglund, Gladys Camber, Ruth Engman, Dan Taylor, Edie Grube, and John Taylor) as well as her extended family and many friends will miss her immensely.
Memorial Service Saturday, Dec. 10 at 1pm at Westhill Church, 29926 37th Ave S. Auburn, WA 98001.
