Dear Goug,Kristi,Kerri,Kelly,Son-in-laws and Grandchildren. We are so sorry for the loss of your wife, mom and grandma and our dear friend Gwen. We will always remember Gwen's deep devotion to her family, especially her grandkids who ment the world to her. She would often talk of her babysitting experiences and LOVED every minute of it. We think back of the times when we were in the fixer-up/rental business, Gwen was always the best cleaner and painter of all of us. We will truly miss her. Know that we care and our prayers are with you all. Love Ruth and Earl

Dear Doug and family: We are so very sad to hear about Gwen. What a great loss to our family. We often think about all of you but get so busy and don't take the time we should to communicate. We have great memories of the times we have spent in your home. Gwen was always a gracious host and welcomed us even when we came with our five small children. Our kids have often talked about our visits to Seattle. They liked the boat ride on Lake Washington, the hot tub, the great salmon you would cook on the barbeque and the game room. And, it was always fun sitting around your family room, reminicing about the past. We always wished we lived closer because we so enjoyed being with your family. Doug, I can't even imagine what your going through right now. You and Gwen have been together for so long and this is probably the hardest thing you have ever had to face. Please know that you are in our thoughts and most important, you are in our prayers. We love and respect you and wish we could be there. I'm sure your girls will be there for you and please let them help you through this time. They will want to and it will be good for them to spend that time with you. Take care of yourself and give those grandkids a big hug. We sure are enjoying ours. We'll talk to you soon. Love, Vic and Toni

Doug, Kristi, Kerri, Kelly, and families, It is so hard to find the words to tell you all how sorry we feel for you all. Nobody knows better than I do, how much you were loved and how proud Gwen was of all of you, and the lives that you shared with her. I will always remember Gwen for her acceptance of me, when I became such a young mother, and all throughout my trying to be a good mother. She was always caring and intested in how it was going for me. And never failed to acknowledge each of my kids achievements in life. I always loved to hear Gwen tell the stories of funny things the kids did. And it wasn't something you could do over the phone, it was watching her tell them that was so fun. One minute it was about some wonderful thing one of you did And the next second about some crazy thing one of you did. There was no prouder Mom. I guess Doug there is no way to tell you how hard we know it must be for you. Because we can have no idea. Our prayers for all of you are that you will be able to remember her and smile. We love you all, Teri and Dave
