Obituary of Oscar Melvin Lindseth

Oscar Melvin Lindseth, age 75, went to be with Jesus, his Lord and Savior on Monday, August 8, 2005, surrounded by his loving family. Oscar was born in Cosmopolis, WA, on February 18, 1930 to Lars and Kristine Lindseth. He attended Aberdeen High School and graduated from NW Bible Institute with his BA in Pastoral Ministries in l952. He has lived in Renton for 15 years. Oscar married Marian Kenney in l952 and they began their 50 years of pastoral ministry at Doty, WA. Robert, their first born son was born in l953, followed by Marilyn, their daughter, in l954. the family moved to Othello, WA where they began and built the Assembly of God church. Wesley was born in l956 completing the family. Oscar and Marian pastured in Toppenish, “WA, Raymond, WA and finished their years of ministry with their son, Wes at Fairwood Assembly of god in Renton, WA retiring in 2003 Survivors: Wife: Marian Lindseth, Renton, WA Son: Wes Lindseth (Conni), Kent, WA Son: Bob Lindseth (Priscilla), Vancouver, WA Daughter: Marilyn Eylander (Darnell), Marysville, WA Brother: Einar Lindseth, Roseburg, OR Sister: Margaret Kecki, Auburn, WA 14 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter The celebration of Oscar’s life will be held at Fairwood Assembly in Renton, WA on Thursday August 11, 2005 at 7:00 PM. Private interment services will be held at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Everett, WA. Dad, we love you and we look forward to the day when we will see you again in heaven.
