Obituary of Clara W. McMullen

Clara W. McMullen, 99 of Auburn died on May 2, 2005 in Federal Way, WA She was born in Donneley, MN on August 1, 1905 and has been a resident of Auburn for 65 years. Preceded in death by her husband John H. McMullen and she was the middle child of 11 children who have all preceded her in death. She worked as a cook for many years, retiring after 15 years in l970 from Auburn High School. Member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Church Circle. Volunteered at area nursing homes; member of the Auburn Senior Center and was still doing 5 mile hikes at age 85. Enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Survivors: Son: Jim McMullen, Graham, WA Daughter: Joyce Ann Rogers, Federal Way, WA Son: Dan McMullen, Auburn, WA Son: Dave McMullen, Orting, WA Daughter: Carolyn Sanders, Federal Way, WA Son: Mike McMullen, San Antonio, TX 19 Grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren Funeral Mass Thursday May 5, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church Auburn. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to the Church. Burial will be in the Mt. View Cemetery, Auburn.
