Obituary of Lloyd Francis Markle

Lloyd "Mark" Markle, 76, passed away peacefully at his home in Federal Way, Washington, on Sept 22, 2012. He was born Lloyd Francis Markle in Denver Colorado on Oct 23rd 1935. He graduated from the Kemper Military School in Boonville, Missouri, and served in the National Guard in the artillery division. He excelled as a sharpshooter. Later he worked at Boeing before settling into his career in various positions for the Burlington Northern Railroad. He had a good union job and retired after more than 30 years. Mark enjoyed bowling, sailing, fishing, printing, building bird houses and squirrel feeders. He enjoyed traveling in his RV to Glacier, Mt. Rainier, Grand Canyon and Yellow Stone National Parks and anywhere else he could go with his family and dogs. He liked to watch the Mariners and Seahawks. For five years, he and his wife Jadanne, spent their winters in sunny Arizona before Parkinson’s Disease took its toll. He is survived by Jadanne Bullert Enyeart Markle, his wife of nearly 19 years, daughters, Vicki Markle and Kelli Markle Clough (Brad), grandchildren, Morgan Clough, Joshua Clough, sisters, Mary Jackson of Casper, Wyoming and Alice Hale of Aurora, Colorado, several nieces and nephews. A ‘Celebration of Life’ will be held 1-4 pm on Sunday, Oct. 7, at his home in Federal Way. Guests are welcome to bring memories or photos of Mark to share in casual conversation with his friends and family.
