I read this entire page often. For some reason it makes me feel closer to you. I have wanted to write something for a while now but can't get it out of my head. I wish you could have walked me down the aisle and gave me away to the only other man on this earth that would care about me like you did. You sure would have loved him and he sure would have loved you. Justin truly played the roll great! We miss you always and think of you constantly. As our children grow, we are sure to talk about our adventures to keep you alive. I love so much dad!

My deepest sympathies to all those close to Dexter, I knew Jack from long ago and am sad that his life was some how shortened.

4/18/10 3:38AM Time is of the essence, you told me so I know. It feels like so long without you, it’s still hard to let go. Time don’t and won’t stand still and yet sometimes it travels too slow. Two baby boys you wanted only to meet if not to watch them grow. You were a farm hand once let it grow with high hopes and reaped the seeds that you sewed. Rode the back of a trash truck, learned to hold your head high everywhere you would go in life. Sent airplanes in to the sky, sent hundreds of ships to the sea. And wherever it is I go in life, I know that you sent me. Sometimes it’s hard to hold it together but I’m running out of time to complain. I haven’t punched a card in weeks but it’s impossible not to know what you were saying. So thank you for the freedom, what I did with it I’m to blame. Thank you for your lessons, I’ll never be the same. I could go on and on forever but I know time is of the essence. And that we all play this game…

Along with your many friends, we too will miss you. And contrary to what you thought, I did not pick on you when you were in High School!!! There are many good memories from those years.

I will forever have fond memories of my times with Dexter and will miss him dearly. I will always remember his sheepish grin, his smile and his laugh. I wish that I had had more time with him, but feel blessed that he was part of our family over all these years. Be at peace my friend.

Dexter, I am so very happy to have had you as part of our family. I will miss your easy laughter and your friendship. Thank you for giving us Stephanie and Justin into our family. Your legacy will live on and on. I will miss you being at our family get togethers and your music. Stephanie and Justin certainly picked up your music abilities, so at least we will continue to have music as part of our celebrations. Be with God.

I will forever miss going to your house and listening to you and the cousins play guitar, keyboard and sing. You made your home a place for all of us to go and be together I will cherish that and bring it with me throughout my life for when I have a family of my own. Thank you Dexter. I will miss you so very much.
