Obituary of Bruce Amundson

Bruce “Buzz” Amundson of Sumner, WA died on October 23 at his home following a brief but courageous battle with scleroderma. He was 64. Born September 1, 1942 in Thief River Falls, MN he lived in the Auburn and Sumner areas his entire life. He graduated from Auburn Sr. High School in 1960, attended Washington State University and served in the Army. Mr. Amundson worked in the aerospace industry for 40 years. Survivors include his wife Connie, brothers Michael and Robert (Dianna), sister Cheryl Sue Amundson, sister-in-law Elizabeth Carlson, nephews, nieces and many friends. The family gratefully acknowledges the love, kindness and help given to them by their neighbors during Bruce’s illness. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held on Sat. Nov 4th, 11:00am at the Auburn Eagles Aerie #2298, 702 M St. SE, Auburn WA 98002. Private inurnment will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Auburn.
