Obituary of Teresa Lynn Matteson

Teresa Lynn (Laudy) Matteson age 70, died on November 19th, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer in the loving arms of her family.

Teri was born on January 16th, 1951, in Everett, Washington, to Charles Allen Laudy and Maxine (Ardelle-Kurr) Laudy. After her father passed in 1955, she was raised by her stepfather, Robert Thompson. Teri graduated from Parkrose High School in Portland, Oregon.

Teri is survived by her daughter, Aimee Teresa Wiseman, her son, Lucas William Buckley, and her grandchildren Mateo Flores-Wiseman, Lucia Flores-Wiseman, Jayden Martinez Marshall, and Noah William Buckley.

Teri enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also had a passion for traveling to warm destinations, mainly the desert and warm beaches of Mexico. Teri was an avid reader, a lover of music, had a sweet spot for animals, and was a kind friend to everyone.

Her loved ones are saddened by Teri’s passing but plan to continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. Family and friends plan to have a small Celebration of Life gathering this upcoming Spring.
