Dear family, I give my deepest regards to you for your lost. Mr. Cook was my middle school vice principal and then I had him for two classes in high school. I always appreciated him most because he always remembered me, especially when I went into 9th grade, I had him and it was nice to have a teacher already know me. All the way to graduation whenever I saw him he'd say hi, and I always liked that. It was a shock to learn about his passing, he is always going to be remembered.

Chuck was my 7th grade science teacher in Montesano in 1979-80. I liked him very much and will always remember that he was one of the nicest teachers we had in Montesano. He conributed alot to our school before moving to Auburn, coaching, etc. I was shocked and sorry to hear of his passing and many of us from Montesano also share your loss. God bless you all of his family and friends. We'll never forget him.

Amber, Dana, and Steven: Everything spoken at Chuck's service was an accurate portrayal of the wonderful man he was. Our favorite, spoken by Pastor Sigmar, "He's walking straight now!" Our prayers are with you as you struggle with this loss. The comfort will come from the Lord. Ken and Angela Prince and Family

I DON'T REALLY KNOW WHAT TO SAY ABOUT THE PASSING OF ONE OF MY FAVORITE TEACHERS AND COACHES. HE WAS MY 6 GRADE TEACHER AND BASKETBALL COACH AT WASHINGTON ELEMENTARY AND LATTER I HAD A CHANCE TO SEE HIM FOLLOW AT AUBURN HIGH SCHOOL. LIKE EVERY ONE HAS SAID BEFORE ME; HE WAS ONE OF THE NICEST AND MOST CARING PEOPLE I HAVE EVER KNOWN. ALTHOUGH DURING THE YEARS I LOST TOUCH; ONE OF MY BIGGEST REGRETS IS I NEVER HAD THE CHANCE TO THANK HIM PERSONALLY FOR TEACHING ME A LOT ABOUT LIFE. MY CONDOLENCES GO OUT TO HIS ENTIRE FAMILY. AND I HOPE ONE DAY I COULD BE HALF THE MAN HE WAS. THANK YOU MR. COOK! JAMES RELETHFORD AHS CLASS OF 1994

Dana and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Mr. Cook was such a wonderful person. I remember 9th grade, I had him for 1st period class and while we had a very rowdy bunch, he never got upset with us, and I think that was mostly in part because he saw that even tho we were a very talkative bunch at times, we really were listening to him, and it showed in our grades. I was heartbroken when I heard what happened. Mr. Cook was also one of the few teachers who I would continuously visit even when I wasn't in any of his classes, all throughout highschool I would drop by his classroom and he always greeted me with a wonderful smile. I will truely miss him. ~Alicia Brooks (Allen)

I REMEMBER KEITH ASKING ME TO GO TO A SUMMNER SCHOOL CLASS THAT CHUCK WAS TEACHING AND GIVE A LITTLE SPEACH ON HOW MATH WAS USED IN THE CAR BUSINESS. HE JUST SAT BACK AND LET ME TAKE THE REINS.I'LL NEVER FORGET MY ONE TIME AT TEACHING, BUT I ENJOYED IT SO MUCH,THAT I KNOW WHY HE ENJOYED IT. HE WAS A GREAT GUY. I'LL MISS HIM ALOT. LOVE CHRIS MARTIN

You are all in our thoughts Amber, Steven, Dana, and extended family. Chuck touched so many lives during his lifetime. I loved listening to Chuck tell stories. I will always remember the time that he was "ejected" from one of Steven's recent spring AAU basketball games. The game was getting out of control and the fans, players, and coaches were all having a hard time with the refs, when one of the refs turned to our side of the bleechers and pointed directly at Chuck and said "YOU'RE OUT OF HERE!". Needless to say, anybody that knew Chuck would know that he wasn't the one that was causing any problems. The refs were blindly ejecting people similar to the way they were refereeing the game. Chuck started out the doors ready to take on his unfounded punishment when the refs thought twice and let him come back into the gym and watch the last couple minutes of the game. We all got a good laugh out of it afterwards in the parking lot. That's what made Chuck such a special person, he made the best out of every possible situation. He will be missed greatly!!!!!

chuck was such a part of our family===we watched up grow up--followed him through his football career @ Eastern Wash. Univ. Spent several weekends with his parents attending his games. He was as dedicated in his sports abilities as he was as a teacher and coach. He and Amber have two wonderful children--they have done a fantastic job of raising them and have given them his poitive attitudes. May God be with the family and give them strength as they adjust to living their lives without him. He will always be remembered.

Amber and family, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to each of you. I have so many great memories of Chuck and all the fun times we shared in Monte. First of all, he was a great person and a wonderful influence on so many kids as well as other staff members in the schools. Throughout the day, I've reflected on some of the silly antics he shared with all of us. We had some very good times, not only at school and at activities, but also at the house when your family and Liz would come visit. Again, please know he will be sorely missed by so many. Most sincerely, Louise

Amber and family, Sorry for your loss. We will all share in it as Chuck was such a wonderful, friendly, good natured person. After all, you would have to be putting up with three Libadia's at the same time in your classroom. He always acknowledged you whereever we went. His smile and friendliness will always be remembered.

Chuck has left his mark on A-Town. His tenacity to keep putting one foot in front of the other was seen and felt by those that saw him everyday. I will miss his beam of a smile and rememberance of names of people. May you find strength in the prayers around you.
