Dear Rena and Dan: It was coincidental that I saw your father's obituary on the Klontz website. I am so sorry for your loss. I'm touched that he was able to be at home with you (I'm assuming he was with you, but perhaps it was with another daughter) before he passed. Regards, Julie Grosnick

Remembering our childhood days with Jr. and the gang: Tina, Erna Mae, Cookie, and Ernie, Marlene, and of course my sis Linda. We had a great childhood together, but grew apart as we got older. Jr. was always the funny one, made us laugh!Hard to take his leaving this earth way too soon. My heart is with the family. May God comfort you in this time of such a precious loss.

I grew up with Larry, but in those days, he was called Jr. My whole family and his were very close, His mother and father were my Godparents, so I suppose I could say, I knew him since birth. I have so many good memories of Larry....as kids, he was so funny, he would always tease us girls or pull his pranks on us....as a teen , we would have our teen parties, and he would always feel sorry for me and dance with me so I wouldn't feel left out,and I would fight the crush I had on him, because he was like my brother...and as a young adult, he was a devoting friend, that I could always depend on....but after awhile we grew apart for no reasons known, but I will always have him in my heart and love him as my brother. My thoughts and love go out to his family.

Junior, your passing comes as a shock. It seems like yesterday that we were all little kids--going to the Maduro house for Sabas's chicken and long rice! It was a hub of activity for all the Filipinos. You were unmerciful in your teasing and practical jokes on all us girls! Once you grew up, I remember how generous you always were. You and Pam would come over to visit Ron and me when we were still newly-weds. I remember you picking up the tab for a number of our "double dates." You have left many great memories for us to think about as we ponder our own mortality. I'm sure your dad and Sabas have been waiting for your arrival. Diana

I have known Larry since I was 4 years old. I remember him taking Kristy and myself to the fair, year after year. Everytime we needed more money, we would head over to where he was playing pool and he would load us up! We always went home with those HUGE stuffed animals that he would win doing those trick shots on the pool table. I also remember, and still don't understand, him sitting out in the yard watching for mole's to start popping up the dirk and he would get them with the pitchfork. I never understood how he could have the patience to do that. Larry will greatly be missed by many, as he touched many lifes!!
