Obituary of Lorenzo Ralph Maduro

Lorenzo Ralph Maduro “Larry or Junior to anyone who knew him” Age 61, died peacefully at his daughter and son-in-laws home in Issaquah on the morning of March 8, 2007. He was born January 6, 1946 at home in rural Auburn. He grew up and lived most of his life in the Auburn area. Larry’s joking and rebel spirit was renowned in the Auburn area where he had many friends and touched many lives. Larry loved to fish, passing this love on to his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed playing cards and trips up to the Muckleshoot Casino where he was a familiar face. He also enjoyed cooking and talked about this until his last days. The day before he passed he reported to his daughter. “Wait ‘til you see my new kitchen. It will be open 24/7, and the things I am going to make!” Burlington Northern Railroad is where Larry worked for 36 years before congestive heart failure forced early retirement in 2006. Larry leaves behind his Children, Janet Stanifer, Ken Haugen, Dan Maduro, Rena Lang, Kristy Maduro; Son-in-law Dan Lang; Grandchildren, Austine Beason, Jessica & Brandon Stanifer, Dillon & Trevor Maduro, and Kajal and Chloe Lang; Sister and Brother-in-law Christina & Ray Visaya. Viewing will be held at Klontz Funeral home in Auburn on Wed., March 14th from 5-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Thurs., March 15th at 12:30pm with a reception following the burial at Holy Family Catholic Church in Auburn Washington.
