Obituary of Marilyn L. Lamb

Marilyn L. Lamb of Issaquah, died Oct 10, 2007 in Auburn. She was 79. Born July 19, 1928, in Knoxville, Iowa to Howard & Nora Steele. She married her childhood sweetheart, Raymond A. Lamb at The Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua, Iowa, in 1947. They lived in several states before settling in Issaquah in 1966. Together they raised 5 children. Marilyn was a loving and nurturing mother to her children and took great pride in raising her family over the years. She was the kind of mother that always put her children first. Her love of living, fast step and busy hands bring smiles to many that think of Marilyns daily life. Marilyn was an avid walker; she loved to take walks in nature. Cooking for her family was another way she shared her gifts with her family. Love went into every meal. She was a very grateful, kind and loving soul. She loved waking up in the mornings, always had a smile on her face, and a kind word to say about the day. She was a woman that truly enjoyed life. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond A. Lamb, Aug 8, 2006. Survivors include her daughters - Julie Tallent (John Martinez) and Donna Lamb (Sue Hoffman) of Auburn, sons - Philip Lamb of Auburn, Larry Lamb (Becky) of Kent and David Lamb (Mary Ann Lambert) of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, grandchildren - Autumn Lamb, Jed Ullrich (Jessica Ruck), Angela Coccia, Nick Tallent, Katie Miller (Joe), Jesse & Cody Kretschmer, great grandchildren, Abby & Sean Perry, Matthew & Jordyn Coccia, Serenity Ullrich, Owen Miller, and sister Dorothy Redenbaugh of Iowa. A celebration of her life will be held at her son?s home, Larry & Becky Lamb in Kent on Oct 21st, 2007. Inurnment will be at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 SE 240th St, Kent.
